Born in Brasília - Brazil 1985, Acácio Carvalho started his musical history studying the piano at the age of 9. At that time he started to have contact with a heavier kind of music and started to know many bands within the heavy metal style. But only at the age of 10 Acácio saw for the first time a drummer playing the songs that he loved so much. It was Nicko McBrain (Drummer for Iron Maiden) during a concert from the tour "somewhere in time" in a video tape. From that moment on, Acácio decided to play the drums and didn´t stop anymore.
At the age of 11he got his first drum set and started to study the instrument seriously. Just in the first year of study, he started to play covers from pop brazilian bands with some friends to have fun.
The time gone by and at the age of 13 Acácio formed his first metal band, the "Armtam". Was just with this band that Acácio started to play the double bass drums and that was where he had the opportunity to write his first songs. During the period in Armtam, Acácio made many parallel works. He made some concerts through the country playing for the singer "Edgar Muniz", when he had the opportunity to learn how to play different kinds of music that was totally distant from his reality, and that was the first time that Acácio had contact with the "music business", playing concertes, practicing hours and hours everyday, composing arrangements, etc.
At the age of 14 he joined the Death Metal band "Black Sunrise", and that was when he really sterted to study the double bass drum technique, since the style requires lots of speed and precision to play the songs.
